This new eau de parfum is called Viva La Juicy Sucre and it was designed for women and young girls who prefer sweeter fragrances with gourmand compositions and fruity and floral notes. (Um, yes, please!)

The modern composition is created in the style of Juicy Couture and captures the woman's juicy, sassy and cheerful character and rhythm and intertwins it with the irresistible flavors of cupcakes and tasty fillings. Valentino Valentina Eau de Parfum Fragrance Review and Giveaway

Normally, I would never order a fragrance online without smelling a sample of it and giving it at least 2 hours wear on my pulse points before deciding to purchase a full bottle. Of course, all of that fragrance knowledge and common sense went out of the window the second that I read about Valentino Valentina's Eau de Parfum.

Valentino Valentina first launched in September 2011 and was designed to capture the flavors of Rome and Italy while highlighting the sensual and sweet aromatic feel from the fashion house. I remember the first time that I smelled it - the sweet wild strawberries opened up on me and it made my room smell like I was baking a strawberry shortcake. There comes a time when you just know that a blind buy is going to work for you once you get used to understanding the history and notes of the fragrance. And me being a lover of everything gourmand and floral, I knew that this was the one.

The Packaging Valentino Valentina is packaged in a circular bottle that is decorated with elegant pink, rosey and ivory florals. The Valentino name is etched onto the front of the chrome nozzle that is capped with a safety travel top that is easily removable.

The Bottom Line This is a fragrance that is meant for fruity and floral lovers. Seriously, if you don't like strawberries and flowers then "X" out of your browser immediately. But if you do, then... :-).

Michael Kors Collection Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear Collection Re-See Recap

Only Michael Kors could make me want to go home, walk to my closet, grab everything in it and immediately start packing it away to start fresh. Even as I'm typing this, I'm side eyeing my closet and fighting the urge clear it out to make room for nautical and floral explosion that is the Michael Kors Collection Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear Collection. I attended the Re-See event on Wednesday at his studios on 42nd street to get a closer look at the collection.

You can see all the looks from their NYFW runway show here. And in keeping with our follow-me-to-fashion-week, I decided to dip into the fragrance collection to showcase (and giveaway) Glam Jasmine - an eau de parfum that focuses on a bouquet explosion of its namesake flower; Egyptian jasmine, jasmine sambac and jasmine petals. It's a warm and sexy fragrance with sparkling citrus notes and woody cedar mixed with black currant, jasmine, sandalwood,white flowers and cassis.

It was designed as a rock'n'roll interpretation (and flanker) to the classic 2010 Opium which is much more spicier.The Bottom Line This is a fragrance that is meant for floral and coffee lovers. Personally, I don't like to drink coffee but I love the aroma of it. Whenever I smell someone brewing it - especially the french vanilla flavored beans - I am in heaven and that's what Black Opium is to me.

Paco Rabanne Olympéa - A Scent Fit for the Gods - Fragrance Review and Giveaway

Rose Gold. I mean...there is a reason that I am obsessed with this color. Just look at Paco Rabanne's Olympéa Eau de Parfum.Beautiful right? The second that I saw the images hit the internet I knew...this was going to be one of those bottles that I collect and showcase in my glam room. From the dusty rose gold to the glistening rose pink and even the warmer copper blend, the packaging is absolutely stunning.The concept for Olympéa is based on the idea of a modern Greek goddess that evokes strength, dynamism and conquests. The bottle is shaped like a laurel crown and adorned with a jeweled cap. It is the female counterpart to the masculine Paco Rabanne Eau de Toilette Invictus, which was inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory. When I finally conquered my lust for the bottle, I sprayed it on my wrists for the first time and dare I say it but with that one spritz, I felt like a goddess of love and beauty. Move over Aphrodite!

The best way to describe this fragrance is to understand the unique fusion between a sensual salted vanilla accord and refreshing floral notes that highlight jasmine, ginger lily, citrus, woody and vanilla. On me, I find that it settles into nice white floral vanilla scent with a hint of sea salt that lasts about 7 hours before I need to reapply. 

And given that you guys know that I am completely obsessed with this color, this review would not be complete without giving you a chance to win a bottle for yourself.

Tom Ford Black Orchid Fragrance Review + Surprise Giveaway

It's the scent that started it all. Tom Ford's Black Orchid debuted in 2006, making it the first fragrance from the designer.

It is a statement fragrance that is described as an oriental chypre - a rich and spicy woody fragrance. It has top notes of French jasmine, black truffle, black currant, ylang-ylang and effervescent citrus. The heart notes hold the spicy floral punch of Tom Ford's black orchid which lead to the woody base noes of dark chocolate, amber, vetiver, vanilla, balsam, patchouli and sandalwood.

As opposed to the brighter and more feminine Velvet Orchid, Black Orchid is a classically dark fragrance that basks itself in luxury. Honestly, it took me a long time to come around to Black Orchid because of its smoldering spicy notes. I tend to favor more fruity and floral notes - more on the sweeter side - and Black Orchid definitely took me on a new adventure with its earthy dry down so for me, this is more of my fall/winter scent because it is so deep.

As usual, the packaging is amazing and I hate that I can never do it justice in the photos. The fragrance is packaged in a fluted black glass bottle with a gold engraved metal plate and gold ribbon around the neck. And here's a fun fact for you - one of the colognes that Michael Jackson was known to love is our very own Black Orchid by Tom Ford.

The Lure of a Sweet Gourmand: Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Fragrance Review

Melted creamy caramel, dripping Tahitian vanilla and syruped canned peaches. Would you believe me if I told you that I was just describing a fragrance? Sounds scrumptious right? As much as I'd love to eat that right now (um hello ice cream sundae), I'm actually describing Viktor's and Rolf's Bonbon EDP - a gourmand fragrance.

So in case you don't know, a gourmand fragrance is a perfume that has sweet ingredients in it and smells almost edible. Literally, your mouth will begin to water the second that you smell its succulent notes and fade away into the scent of its dessert-like qualities. That's exactly what happened with me when I first got Bonbon.

I ordered Bonbon on a blind buy, of course because of its beautiful presentation, but mainly because it's the little sister to Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb - which I've been obsessed with since 2008. Now although this is the little sister to Flowerbomb, I find Bonbon to be a bit more grown up and seductive. It opens with a huge explosive of caramel and sugary sweets surrounding it and as it dies down, the heart notes of peach, orange blossom and jasmine start to take over. Now I find the more grown up and sophisticated part of this fragrance comes in when it starts to settle into the base notes - specifically the sandalwood and cedar. Surprisingly, I love how the earlier sweet notes blend into the woody base to form a more concrete and sultry scent.

Notes includes mandarin, orange peach, orange blossom, jasmine, caramel, cedar, guaiac wood, sandalwood and amber. It has an 8 hour+ longevity and a memorable sillage.

Take An Oud to The Beach - Bond No. 9 Shelter Island Fragrance Review

There aren't many times when I would recommend wearing an Oud fragrance to the beach but Bond No. 9 put an astonishing marine twist on Shelter Island that I couldn't help but test it out this weekend. For starters, Oud is a dark and fragrant resin (also called agarwood) that comes from the wood of the tropical Agar (Aquilaria) tree. It is produced when the wood of the Agar tree gets infected with a very specific mold. The oud - when properly distilled or extracted - is a highly valuable ingredient to perfumers because of its distinctly complex woody, sweet and aromatic scent. I tend to be drawn more to oud scents during the colder months because they are normally heavier but Bond No. 9's Shelter Island took a fascinating turn with this fragrance that contrasted it into a light marine oud. 

It is a tart and lemony fragrance with notes of Citrus zest, black pepper, white lilies, algae extract, sandalwood, amber, myrhh, musk and oud. As I mentioned above, to me, oud tends to make a fragrance heavier but I love how the oud here contrasts with the natural aquatic aromas and candy sweetness to make this scent ideal for the summer and the beach. Plus the bottle was a perfect pairing for this holiday season.

Pretty in Pink (Graffiti): Preparing for a Date Night with Escada Fragrances

The notion that fashion is just putting on a pair of pants, a matching T-shirt and some stylish shoes is simply untrue. When I get ready for my day, there's so much more to it than just going into my closet and picking out a pair of jeans, t-shirt and pumps to match. Seriously, there are so many factors to consider when picking out the perfect outfit - whether you're going for a casual look or something that you're preparing for a night out on the town. The biggest thing that people tend to forget until the last minute is their fragrance.

Tom Ford Orchid Soleil - A New Fragrance for Women

Tom Ford always has to play games with our wallets! The line has announced a new women's fragrance to the "Orchid" family - Orchid Soleil Eau de Parfum that is scheduled to be released in July 2016.

Orchid Soleil is a luxurious and glamorous rose gold flanker of Black Orchid (2006) and Velvet Orchid (2014). The notes will include pink pepper, bitter orange, cypress, vanilla, tuberose, red spider lily, chestnut cream, patchouli and of course, orchid. It will be available in a 50 and 100 ml bottle.

Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris - A New Fragrance for Women

Oh why hello new obsession! Get ready ladies because Yves Saint Laurent is launching a new fruity and floral Eau de Parfum for women called Mon Paris. Mon Paris is being described as a "modern interpretation of a love full of intensity and dedication yet free from all constraints".

The notes will include raspberry, strawberry, pear, peony, datura, jasmine, orange blossom, patchouli and white musk and will be available in a 30, 50 and 90 ml.

You see, Eau de Ciel by Annick Goutal is the type of fragrance that is best worn on a warm summer day. Tory Burch Eau de Parfum - A Tomboy Chic Scent

When you create a namesake perfume, you want it to be an androgynous gem - something that isn't easily defined by a tradition label. And that's exactly what we got when Tory Burch decided to create her first namesake Eau de Parfum - Tory Burch.Tory Burch is a tomboy chic citrus Eau de Parfum from Tory Burch with a soft floral edge. It has polished notes of floral peony and tuberose that is blended with citrus hints of grapefruit, neroli and the earthy tones of jasmine sambac, vetiver and sandalwood. The spray comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a signature fretwork top. I was initially captivated by the beautiful glass bottle with the signature Tory Burch fretwork as the top. As I wore the fragrance, I immediately noticed the sweet mandarin and neroli top notes that is accented with the floral blast of the roses and beautiful lush peony notes. Once it began to dry down (after about 1.5 hours on me), I began to notice the fresh grapefruit and creamy tuberose gardenia scent.
